I like collecting things. The problem is, we do not own this house where we are living now and it is hard to bring along a collection if we decide to move again.

But there are people who are really into collecting stuff. Sometimes, their collections could already be considered priceless. Take for example the former boss of my friend. He is into collecting anything valuable—antique furniture and house wares, paintings and other works of art, as well as antique jewelry. He would also buy gold coins. Yep! That is how valuable his collection is.

Several years ago, he held a private exhibit at the Negros Museum showcasing antique gold jewelry. Some of the pieces were heirlooms but there were also interesting pieces that were among those that he excavated in southern Negros when he was young. There were really curious pieces that were crudely made, so you may think that they were part of a civilization of long ago. It was really interesting to see!
