Just lately, I have heard very shocking news! Two DC Metro trains collided with each other killing four people and left around 100 injuries according to the preliminary reports. The accident happened around 4:59pm (June 22, 2009) at the city’s red line in northeast Washington between the Fort Totten and Takoma stations.

News has it that the first train was stalled waiting for clearance while the second slammed from behind. According to DC Mayor Adrian Fenty, he called it the “deadliest accident in the history of our Metro train system.”
