After more than two years of battling cancer, Farrah Fawcett dies at 62. It was only a few hours ago that the breaking news was heard that Farrah Fawcett last rites were administered by a priest surrounded by long-time partner Ryan O’Neal and best friend Alana Stewart.

Farrah Fawcett was declared dead around 9:28am (Pacific Standard Time) at John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. She was admitted there for the past few weeks.

Many were asking what kind of cancer did Farrah Fawcett have, so I searched and found out that she was battling anal cancer since 2006 when she was diagnosed with it.

For the younger generation who haven’t heard about Farrah Fawcett, she was one of the original casts of the hit television series Charlie’s Angels in the late 1970’s. The controversial Farrah Fawcett poster with her wearing a swimsuit (shown below) sold millions that time. Her cascading golden hair became a trend at her time.

Charlie’s Angels Farrah Faucet will always remain in our hearts.
